Fasching...The last party....dann alles ist vorbei...
We couldn't get enough of Fasching so we went back to Geisingen for some more! This time it was an evening full of comedy shows, skits, and dancing. We go every year and dress up...this year's costumes were probably politically incorrect (at least for me to be wearing it!), but no harm done in Germany I guess!
Later in the bar...Martina, Marco, Daniela, Christian, Guenter (Christian's Dad)
after a few more drinks...
Daniela after her debut on stage.
I don't know what to say here...too many drinks and it was only 9:00pm.
...our better sides.....
Don't know what's going on here...we seem to have a lot of these pictures...
here either....

Christian's cousin is on the left...Manny's brother...
The two amigos..
The best looking girls in the whole hall.....
The smurfs were there too!
The best picture of all...

Fasching time again!!! Narrentreff in Geisingen
Fasching is a time of year here where everyone dresses up and there are parties, parades, etc. Here is a link on Wikipedia if you're interested in learning more:

Last weekend there were parties and parades in Chrisitan's home town with thousands of people in costumes that are all homemade. Here are a few pics and movies from last weekend. We ended up running a bar all day and night on Saturday (Christian, Daniela, Marco, Moritz and me) and Christian's family and me were all in a parade on Saturday and Sunday. It was my first experience dressing up and participating in all of the events! It was a lot of fun!
Daniela and Moritz start decorating the bar
Christian and Manny hanging up the lights outside
The parade begins...
The Hansele group (I think that's Daniela!!)
Berbel (Christian's Mom) and me walking together in the parade. Narri Narro!!!
The witches and putting kids and young women into their wagon that spins around
This group of people are called plum swallowers....at least that's the english translation!
This group is from the Rhein area and they even had a fish with them!
Just after the parade, after 3 schnaps and a couple glasses of champange....this costume was bad news...everyone kept buying me drinks when I had it on!
The Three Muskateers! Juergen, Norbert and the mayor of Kirchenhausen where Norbert lives
Christian and Moritz looking good even at 3:00 AM

Christian wanted to pose with Daniela too

The bar was a hit....at least the guy in the middle thought so!!
